The Great XMAS Blogroll Induction Extravaganza – Day 7.
Today is the day after Christmas… Don’t ask me what day of the week it is, though. I debated if I was going to go forward with today’s blogroll induction, or simply put another link to my brilliant Christmas post… I wouldn’t/couldn’t do this to Nicole… I’m a class act… Just ask White Baby Jesus™. I’m also fond of ellipses… Or so it seems… Nicole?
THIS IS ME. EXCEPT WITH A LESS CRAPTASTIC BEER.
When I first came upon Le Clown’s blog, I said to myself, “What the hell is this?” Then I read. Then I read some more. I haven’t stopped reading since.
I told a friend about Le Clown, and since then we like to go around saying his name as we’d imagine a snooty Frenchman might say it, in some blasé sort of voice, just before blowing a smoke ring into the air and adjusting his beret. I like to think this is how Le Clown says his name, while he speaks out loud to himself in the mirror. (I even take it one step further and imagine he probably twirled his Movember ‘stache.)

So when this wonderful, clown-faced (not really clown-faced but rather pretty handsome in real life) man told me I was being inducted into his blogroll, I was ecstatic. I ran and told my fiancé. I ran and told the friend who shares in my joy of lazily saying “Le Clown”. I may have even told a coworker who had no idea what the hell I was talking about!
Then I sat on my ass and didn’t write this little ditty until Le Clown himself had to give me a nudge. I’m a sorry excuse for a blogroll Inductee.
Yet here I am! For me, it is a blogging milestone. I have been recognized and appreciated by a brilliant blogger with a massive following and now my name and link will be safely nestled into the circus that is his page. I am honored. Thank you, Le Clown, for inducting my lazy ass.
