I had a few random thoughts about the week to come, but that’s all I had today. I didn’t have it in me to write a whole post about them. So instead, I wasted three hours on Photoshop to come up with a circus poster.
ADDENDUM: Clown on Fire lives, but CoF is pushing up daisies. It’s subtle, I know, but you can do it. I know you can.

Well, now my curiosity is well and truly piqued. Looking forward to seeing what you have coming, Clown.

Thank you.
I hope not to disappoint you.
Teaching Lord Evil Poppy to jump through a ring of fire is not an easy task.

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:15I am Photoshop illiterate… though I have it!
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 08:12Bipolarmuse,
Photoshop can be very frustrating. But like kids, when it finally listens to you, it becomes a rewarding experience.
(Unfortunately, you cannot lock Photoshop in the basement, in pitch darkness, to teach it a lesson).

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:18At one time, I could use it to remove the wrinkles I thought I had… LOL
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 08:30BPM,
Wrinkles are great!
Photoshopped wrinkles (on or off), not so much.

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:38Why have you changed your name?? Isn’t CoF easier to write??
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 08:40BPM,
It’s a very good question. And thank you for asking on behalf of all my readers.
The answer is simple. When I bump into someone, either at the grocery store or at the bank, and I introduce myself as CoF, I need to repeat myself:
“No, not COD… CoF!”. Clown seemed like the easiest walternative.

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:47you need a symbol to go along with “formerly known as”… hahaha
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 08:52BPM,
You just gave me an idea for a blog post.
The Clown (the author formerly known as CoF)
Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:54Wonderful!!! I am glad to be of inspiration to you, formerly known as…
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 10:35That is classy-cool ..So am I to assume we now refer to you as “The Clown” or in my case (being raised polite & southern, “Mr. Clown”?
Posted by free penny press | March 24, 2012, 08:16Lynne,
Thank you… Mr. Clown… Sounds like a Sidney Poitier movie.
But. Yes. Another auto-branding initiative…

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 08:20Dear The Clown, I’m so happy you finally manage to put out the fire. Congrats! I love the poster. It is terribly cool.
Posted by Ink. [Anette] | March 24, 2012, 09:25Anette,
The fire is still here. But the acronym went out the window.

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 10:29You went to a numerologist. Didn’t you?
Posted by Ink. [Anette] | March 24, 2012, 10:57Anette,
A numerologist? What is that? Someone who gives you the lottery winning numbers?
The Clown
Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 11:08Mais tu es réellement en feu , tu publies plus vite que ton ombre !!! lol J’adore ton sens de l’humour Eric et même si je ne commente que rarement, je te lis religieusement !!!!

Posted by magdalena627 | March 24, 2012, 09:40Magda,

Posted by magdalena627 | March 24, 2012, 16:18I think you should keep the fire though… it’s a trademark of sorts.
Posted by bipolarmuse | March 24, 2012, 10:42BPM,
Damn right. The fire’s not going anywhere!

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 10:45I will learn to embrace all changes. I will learn to embrace all changes. I will learn to embrace all changes.
Posted by transparentguy | March 24, 2012, 11:31Transman,
Somehow I think you have mastered “change”.

Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 13:13Dear Clown,
First, there’s a typo on your poster. Second, I think I deserve a little credit for bringing your change of name to light. I call you The Clown. Though perhaps Dotty did it first. Either way, give props, yo.
Lovingly yours,
S
Posted by saradraws | March 24, 2012, 11:39Dear Soulmate,
Thank you. Typo will be corrected. And yes, Dotty did it first. So suck it.
The Clown
Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 11:44Dotty is a genius. And you still need to give her props, fool.
Posted by saradraws | March 24, 2012, 12:08Woot! *happy, spazzy dancing*

Posted by Sophy | March 24, 2012, 13:07Sophy,
Thank you. Now I know you WILL like my 4PM post.
The Clown (the author formerly known as CoF)
Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 13:11I’m even more intrigued now…
Posted by Sophy | March 24, 2012, 13:14Asterisks are for p*ssies, hahaha. Nice job clown formerly on fire yet also still on fire just in a more informal way?
Posted by billmcmorrow | March 24, 2012, 15:02All hail her!!
Posted by billmcmorrow | March 24, 2012, 15:03I should mention, it will always be Clown on Fire.
Just as my signature, it will be The Clown, as opposed to CoF.
My bad. Such a wanker.
The Clown
Posted by clownonfire | March 24, 2012, 16:49I just barely caught on to the whole CoF thing, and now you’re changing it back? Way to play with my emotions!
Rockin’ poster.
